Job Overview

We are seeking a Design coordinator to support our Design management team in overseeing and executing various projects. The Design coordinator will be responsible for coordinating project activities, communicating with stakeholders, and ensuring that all project milestones are met. This role is essential for maintaining organization, efficiency, and clear communication across all aspects of our projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the development and management of project plans and schedules.
  • Coordinate project activities and resources to ensure project goals are met.
  • Monitor project progress and report updates to project managers and stakeholders.
  • Maintain project documentation, including schedules, budgets, and reports.
  • Communicate with team members, clients, and vendors to ensure alignment on project goals and timelines.
  • Identify potential issues and risks and work with the project manager to develop mitigation strategies.
  • Track and manage project expenses to ensure adherence to budget guidelines.
  • Organize and facilitate project meetings, including preparing agendas and documenting minutes.
  • Support the project manager in ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Assist in the preparation of project deliverables and presentations for stakeholders.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Proven experience as a Design coordinator or in a similar role.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Design management software and tools.
  • Ability to analyze project data and generate reports for project managers and stakeholders.
  • Detail-oriented mindset with strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Understanding of project management methodologies and best practices.
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative when necessary.
  • A degree in business administration, project management, or a related field is preferred.
  • Familiarity with budgeting and financial tracking for projects.
